“We’re a temp staffing company. We focus primarily in the United States, and we have four different disciplines that we supply to the marketplace in various geographies around the United States,” Mr. Baker begins, “Typically, staffing is, proven by a staffing industry analyst, has tracked well with the GDP, and right now, the industry is booming…we have a lot of different sectors that we operate in, primarily, our multi-family group. Multi-family is a booming industry; a lot of people who have lost their houses or something, they don’t want to have a mortgage, younger people they are moving into apartment complexes, that’s helping. There’s a lot of specialized IT staffing projects; there’s a lot of people in manufacturing trying to operate very lean – we help them do that; And most recently, we’ve starting helping people with finance and accounting-type needs.”
Mr. Baker then explains what’s harder to facilitate: the staff or the companies that need the staff, where he states, “in this economy, we’ve got more demand than we have people, but that’s a problem we like to have.” He goes on to discuss the company’s recent financing, “increased our dividend from $0.15 to $0.25,” as he states, purchase of finance and accounting firm in Houston, TX, his insights into 2015-2016, and concludes with talking about where the company is strongest on a region-by-region basis.
