SNNLive spoke with Jim Pakulis, CEO of Wisdom Homes of America, Inc. at the Growth Capital Expo 2015 in Las Vegas, NV.
“Wisdom Homes of America opens and operates manufactured home and retail centers in the heartland, and we are now expanding into land-home packages, in which a homeowner can simply come to one of lots and purchase an actual finished house,” Mr. Pakulis begins, “We had actually pivoted out of technology at the beginning of 2014 and got into the manufactured home, brick and mortar sector. We actually starting selling in August and we had a strong second half of 2014; revenue came in north of $1 million, and we are tracking nicely for 2015. We’re expanding with our retail centers. We’re also expanding into the land-home packages with different lots that we have acquired, and we have a slate of more lots that we want to take down to be able to offer the consumer the ability just to come on to one of our sub-divisions and purchase a finished product from us, which is just a wonderful win-win for both sides.”
Mr. Pakulis goes on to discuss why a consumer would want to purchase and live in one the Company’s sub-divisions, a description of the lots Wisdom Homes has purchased, an example of who is buying the Company’s properties, and his insight into 2015-2016.
