Vented by-product, biomass, and renewable electricity feedstocks. HTEC develops, owns and operates hydrogen delivery systems and vehicle fuelling stations. SNNLive spoke with Colin Armstrong, President of Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation (HTEC) at the Canadian Investor Conference 2014 in Vancouver, BC.
“Basically we’re helping the automotive companies sell their fuel cell electric vehicles in California,” begins, Mr. Armstrong. He continues, “We provide the hydrogen – the hydrogen station, the hydrogen production and distribution and network.”
When questioned on how hydrogen will be economically turned into fuel cells, Mr. Armstrong explained, “There’s a lot of byproduct hydrogen from the electrochemical plants so we’re going to take that, clean it up, compress it and deliver it to the station and then into the vehicle.” He adds, “That’s one place you can get it, you can get it from electrolysis, you can get it from natural gas as well, you can get it from biomass, you can get it from solar or any renewable source.” For more information, check out their website at www.htec.ca.
