SNNLive spoke with Michael Noonan, CFO, and Phil Hartstein, President and CEO of Finjan Holdings, Inc., at the B. Riley & Co. Investor Conference 2015 in Hollywood, CA and at the LD Micro Invitational 2015 in Bel Air, CA, respectively. In this article, we’ll be highlighting both video interviews with Finjan Holdings.
We first spoke with Michael Noonan at the B. Riley & Co. Investor Conference in Hollywood, CA: “Finjan is a two-decade old company [that] began in Israel in the mid-90’s. We were a cybersecurity company before cybersecurity was even a term. We have licensed over $150 million in revenues to date, and we are going to continue that process…We’re also developing some new applications and products out there,” he begins.
He goes on to discuss cybersecurity applications the Company is developing for mobile phones, “We are using our history and legacy in the cybersecurity business to help consumers protect data on their phones. In other words, layering and giving you another level of security so that you know the information that you are sharing with the outside world.” Mr. Noonan goes on to discuss a cybersecurity consulting business the Company is developing, the size of the cybersecurity industry, and Finjan’s monetization strategy of the Company’s patent portfolio.
We then spoke with Phil Hartstein at the LD Micro Invitational 2015 who discusses the global outlook on cybersecurity, why this has become such a hot button issue around the world, how Finjan is hoping to educate and solve these issues that affect everyone, and insight into the future for the company.
Since the interviews were conducted, Finjan announced the launch of CybeRisk Security Solutions to provide cybersecurity risk advisory services to global customers (See here: http://www.finjan.com/news/press-releases/detail/605/finjan-launches-cyberisk-security-solutions-to-provide). Leading this effort will be Yoram Golandsky who formerly led Cisco’s (CSCO) Security Center of Excellence as General Manager.
