SNNLive spoke to Grant Williams at the 2012 Cambridge House Resource Conference in Palm Springs, California.
In this interview, Mr. Williams talks about the difference between investing and trading in gold and precious metals. “If you invest in something,” he says, “you take a long-term, fundamental-driven attitude toward it.” He also talks about how upcoming political upheavals in Europe are going to drive people to precious metals, and about how to determine whose investing philosophy to place one’s faith in.
“Everyone needs to follow their own philosophy. I mean, you can get advice from people, and there are certainly some very smart people out there offering advice, but ultimately when you make a decision about what to invest in, you have to be comfortable with your own faith, your own philosophy, so I think it’s very important that everybody does their homework, researches ideas, and doesn’t just take the word of a talking head that so-and-so is a good investment.” For more information about Grant Williams and Vulpes Investment Management, check out their website.
