SNNLive spoke with Kathy Lee-Sepsick, President and CEO of Femasys at the Southeastern Medical Device Association (SEMDA) Conference 2012 in Atlanta, GA.
“I founded the company in 2004 with an overwhelming desire to advance women’s healthcare. We bring to market innovative medical devices. Our first product, Femvue, is on the market globally. We are using distributors to commercialize our product today”, Mr. Lee-Sepsick begins. She goes on to discuss what Femvue does: ”Femvue is an infertility diagnostic test that brings a radiology test into the ObGyn’s office. We use existing ultrasound and we’re able to evaluate a women’s fallopian tubes as part of her infertility assessment.”
“I have 4 in the pipeline. One that’s on the market, one that were about ready to commercialize. Another that’s going to come through the FDA 510-K pathway this year.
