Osage Exploration and Development, Inc. (OEDV: OTCBB) is an independent oil and gas company with operations in the US and South America. The company’s current focus is on developing its 20,000-acre Horizontal Mississippian block along the Nemaha Ridge in Logan County, Oklahoma, with their partners Slawson Exploration and U.S. Energy Development Corp. SNNLive spoke to Osage’s president, Kim Bradford at the 2012 NIBA Conference in New Orleans.

In this interview, Mr. Bradford talks about his company’s recent drilling project in Oklahoma. “We are now preparing to drill our third well. We have two wells drilled now, and we’re eagerly anticipating results, which we expect to release soon.” Mr. Bradford also talks about Osage’s business model. “We have gone into an area which has historically been productive with vertical production. We have used the best technology in the world, which is horizontal drilling, multi-stage frac technology. This is much deeper than it is in New York, where the fracturing is somewhat controversial. We’re 6,000 feet down, but in the oil business, that’s very shallow. So we are safely [and very successfully] fracking these wells.
