Scott May, the Executive Director for the International Center for Professional Development spoke with SNNLive about the various opportunities his program provides for the next generation of PhD candidates. The ICPD is a non-profit organization focused on increasing diversity in the medical work force, scientist mentoring, and pair up industry professionals with PhD candidates.
In this interview, Mr. May talks about the benefits his organization has for the students eligible and participating companies. As he states in the interview, “in order to cover costs, they need financial support”, and by donating, the companies are encouraging “corporate responsibility and excellent professional development for their employees and future employees.”
