HypnoCore Ltd. was founded in 2006 on the basis of over 15 years of academic and medical sleep diagnostics research and algorithms development, resulting in several granted patents and FDA/CE certified medical solutions. SleepRate was initiated in 2011 to provide sleep diagnostics and improvement solutions to the consumer market. SNNLive spoke with Uri Keren, President and CEO of HypnoCore Ltd. at the BioInvest Israel Conference 2012 in Haifa.

SleepRate is an internet and mobile service that provides the tools consumers need to monitor, control and improve sleep that, as Mr. Keren notes, “based on medical research that found the connection between heart rate variability and sleep disorders and sleep diagnostics. Based on this research, the company was founded and developed software algorithms for sleep diagnostics.” Uri goes on to explain how SleepRate works: “We use smart phones to record the heart rate, upload the heart rate to the cloud, and then we provide people with management tracking and improvement solutions for their sleep heath, and in doing so we are helping people to improve their overall health and well-being.”
